Lori is a Rock Hill native. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1983 and from Kings College with a Secretarial Science Degree in 1983. She worked for Piedmont Medical Center in their business office and then for Central Carolina ENT before coming to work for Dr. Thomas August 15, 1998. She has 21 years of experience in the medical and dental fields.

Lori works in our Administrative office and has many duties. She is one of the first people you come in contact with, whether it be on the telephone or come into the office for an appointment. She will schedule your appointments and help you with any problems you may have.

Lori enjoys seeing the amazing results and the increased level of self-confidence achieved by having a beautiful smile.

Rowena is from Lancaster, S.C. She graduated from Lancaster High School in 1980 and from York Technical College from the Dental Assisting Program in 1981. She worked for over 20 years in general dentistry before coming to work for Dr. Thomas September 30, 2000. She brings with her 25 years of dental experience.

She wears many hats in our office. She is a Treatment Coordinator, which means she helps enroll new patients into orthodontic treatment. She also helps in the administrative area. You may see her scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and many other tasks. She may even assist Dr. Thomas with your orthodontic adjustments if she is needed.

Rowena enjoys meeting and working with patients and their parents. She says there is nothing better than seeing a smile on someone’s face after they have gotten their braces off.

Angie lives in Chester South Carolina. She graduated from Chester High School in 1995 with Business certificates in Office Systems Technologies. She worked for Chester Dental Care before coming to work for Dr. Thomas in January 2006. She brings with her over 7 years of dental experience.

Angie works in the administrative office and has many duties. She is one of the first people that you come in contact with either on the phone when making an appointment or when you come into the office for an appointment. Please let her know if you have any special appointment needs or any insurance questions.

Angie enjoys seeing the smiles of all the patients and the joy that it gives to them when they achieve their desirable smile.

Janet is originally from Durham, N.C. She now lives in Charlotte.

Janet was trained and has worked several years in Dental Lab technology. She later attended CPCC for four years, where she studied graphic and visual arts. After working a couple of years for a graphic arts company, she decided to return to the dental field, at which time she began working for Dr. Thomas. Since that time, Janet has broadened her knowledge and experience in dental technology considerably. She has been with Dr. Thomas since March 2001.

Janet’s duties include taking impressions, photographs, trays, pouring impressions and making retainers, as well as various other dental appliances.

Janet enjoys working with children and she loves her job.

Allison is from Lancaster, S.C., but now resides in Rock Hill. She graduated from Lancaster High School in 1982 and York Technical College in 1984, where she received the Dental Assisting Award and an award for her table clinic presentation at the S.C. State Dental Convention. She served two years on the advisory board for the dental department at York Technical College. She is certified in both general dental assisting and nationally certified in orthodontic dental assisting. She has worked for Dr. Thomas a total of 14 years and has 16 total years experience in orthodontics.

You will see Allison in the clinical area of the office, assisting Dr. Thomas in putting on and taking off braces, making adjustments, taking X-rays and records (impressions/photographs of the teeth). She also orders supplies for the office and maintains our inventory.

Allison enjoys working with patients and seeing the effects of tooth movement.

Kristy is from McConnells, S.C. She graduated from York Comprehensive High School in 1999 with National Honor Society and Vocational Technical Honor Society and Star Diploma. She graduated from York Technical College's Dental Assisting Program in 2002. She is a Certified Dental Assistant. She started working for Dr. Thomas July 2002. She has four years of dental experience. You will see Kristy in our clinical area of the office. She assists Dr. Thomas in putting on and taking off braces, making adjustments, taking X-rays and taking orthodontic records (molds, X-rays and photographs of the teeth).

Kristy likes working with patients one-on-one and bringing a beautiful smile to a patient’s face.

Emily - Originally from York, Emily now lives in Rock Hill South Carolina. She graduated from York Comprehensive High School in 2002, then went on to graduate Magnum Cum Laude from Georgetown Technical College in 2006 with a degree in Dental Assisting. Emily has been with Dr. Thomas since early 2007. You will see her in many different areas in our office. Emily says that after training with Dr. Thomas and staff in both the administrative and clinic areas she loves talking with our patients and their parents and seeing the beautiful smiles on their faces.

Blaire is from Lancaster, S.C. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 2003 and from Trident Technical College in 2007 with a degree in Dental Assisting. Blaire started working for Dr. Thomas and Dr. Leitner in August 2007. Blaire has enjoyed being in a warm inviting office and loving staff. She enjoyed working with the patients and bringing smiles to everyone's face.

Terri - Originally from Lyman, SC, I now live in Rock Hill, SC. I graduated from James F. Byrnes High School in 2001 and from Spartanburg Technical College in 2004 with a degree in Expanded Duty Dental Assisting. I worked for an endodontic practice for two years, and recently joined the staff at Thomas and Leitner Orthodontics in March 2008. I enjoy working and interacting with all of the patients, as well as being a part of the Thomas and Leitner team.
